Room types are your RFP inventory
When an RFP asks for a room type, the form shows your Active room types that match it. Each room type you add here is a line you can offer, at your own quantity and rate. If you sell a room type that is not on your profile, you cannot offer it until you add it under Room Types.
Guests see your gallery photos, your room type photos and your amenities when they choose a hotel on the booking page, so keep them current.
Taxes and fees
Your Taxes & Fees page has two kinds of rows:
- Percentage (%): lodging taxes. Guests prepay the first night when they book, with tax on it at the total of these rows.
- Per Night ($): nightly fees, such as a resort fee. These are not prepaid. You collect them at the desk.
Where everything lives
Room Types, Gallery, Amenities and Taxes & Fees each have their own page in the sidebar. Settings opens your whole profile as a step by step form, from Hotel Details to Review. Your Dashboard's Edit Hotel Profile button opens your profile page, with Overview, Room Types and Gallery tabs. Coworker logins are under Users in the sidebar.
Common questions
A room type is missing from the RFP form. Why?
The RFP shows your Active room types that match each requested standard room type. Add the room type under Room Types with the right Room Type selected, make sure its status is Active, then reload the RFP. You can also offer it under Additional Room Types.
Why does my tax rate matter?
Guests prepay the first night when they book, along with lodging tax on it at the total of the Percentage (%) rows on your Taxes & Fees page. Keep those rows current so guests are charged the right amount.
What about nightly fees, such as a resort fee?
Per Night ($) rows on Taxes & Fees are not part of what guests prepay. Collect them at the desk, as you normally would.
Who at my hotel can change the profile?
Anyone with a login at your hotel can change it from the sidebar, whatever their role. If your chain's sales office uses TEAM Solutions, it can update your profile too. To control who has a login, manage Users.
