Put properties forward for an event

Pick chain hotels on TEAM Solutions and off-platform properties from your directory, confirm a contact for each new property and submit.

For national sales officesUpdated

Before you start

  • The event open on your screen. Open it from Events or from the opportunity email.

Step by step

  1. Step 1: Tick your hotels on TEAM Solutions

In your chain's hotels on TEAM Solutions, tick the hotels to put forward. Only hotels marked Not invited can be ticked; the others are already on the event's RFP.

  2. Step 2: Tick off-platform properties

In Off-platform chain properties, tick properties in the table or click their markers on the map. Search by name, brand or city, or filter by brand and state, to narrow a long directory.

  3. Step 3: Continue from the bar

A bar at the bottom of the page counts your picks, on-platform and off-platform. Click Continue, or Clear to start over.

  4. Step 4: Confirm activation contacts

For each off-platform property, check the contact its invite goes to. Directory contacts are filled in for you, so correct anything out of date. A property with no directory contact needs a first name, last name and email.

  5. Step 5: Review and submit

Check your picks and contacts, then click Submit selections. Edit selection and Edit contacts take you back. If you picked only hotels on TEAM Solutions, you go straight to this step.

Two lists, two paths

Your chain's hotels on TEAM Solutions already have an account and a profile. Putting one forward adds it to the event's RFP, and the TEAM Solutions team sends the hotel its RFP.

Off-platform chain properties are in your chain directory but not on TEAM Solutions yet. Putting one forward queues it for activation: its profile is built and it is invited to respond, usually within a few minutes. See What happens after you submit.

You can pick from both lists in one go.

Where contacts come from

The contacts step fills in the best contact your directory holds for each off-platform property: the RFP mailbox first, then the sales contact, then the general manager. Each property shows where its contact came from: from the chain directory, edited by you or entered by you. Nothing is submitted until every property has a working email.

Common questions

What if a property has no contact email?

Enter one on the contacts step. A property with no directory contact needs a first name, last name and a working email, and you cannot move on to review until every property has one.

Can I change a contact after submitting?

Yes, while the property is still in the off-platform list. Tick it again, continue, correct the contact and submit: that replaces the stored contact. A property still waiting on its profile is invited at the new contact. A property that was already invited is not emailed again.

What is the difference between the two lists?

Hotels on TEAM Solutions already have an account and a profile, so they are added to the event's RFP for TEAM Solutions to send. Off-platform properties are in your chain directory only: putting one forward builds its profile and invites it.

Why can't I tick some of my hotels?

A hotel already on the event's RFP is locked: Invite pending, Invited, Responded or Contracted. Only hotels marked Not invited can be put forward.

Can I take a property back after submitting?

Not from your screen. Call or email us as soon as you can and tell us which property and event.
